Outgoing Prime Minister Helen Clark has resigned her government's ministerial warrants ahead of the swearing in of National's ministers today.A spokesman for Miss Clark said she had formally resigned her ministers' warrants at Government House today.
As she left for Government House this morning she was farewelled by about 200 supporters and former staff on the steps of Parliament House.
The incoming National Cabinet will be sworn in this morning.
Twenty Cabinet ministers will be sworn in along with three National ministers and five from support parties outside Cabinet.
