Migrante Aotearoa conveys deepest gratitude for one and all who responded to our appeal for emergency assistance for storm Ondoy victims.
From 29 September to 4 October we gathered NZ$1585 donations. Today we sent total amount of NZ $1556 or 51,591.95 Pesos (charge $29.00).
Special thanks to Auckland Pinoy for circulating our appeal and for Migrant Action Trust who helped us in collecting donations from our compatriots and Kiwi friends. Many thanks to Carmi Astadan for speedy transfer via Western Union .

This week, members and volunteers of Migrante International are scheduled to conduct relief operations in Montalban, Rizal and Bagong Silang, Quezon City .
Last week they were able to check and assist three typhoon-affected families as requested by Filipinos currently in NZ. Please see report below and attached photos from Oplan Sagip Migrante.
