In line to help battled the Climate Change, A new breed of 91 octane biofuel have lunched today by Gull New Zealand.

The Gull Plus is a next generation in petrol, extends Gull's biofuel range beyond the very successful Gull Force 10, while saving the motorist money and saving the environment.

According to Gull NZ General Manager Dave Bodger, the Gull Regular Plus is a sustainable 91 octane biofuel which contain bioethanol sourced from whey,a natural by-product of the New Zealand dairy industry.

“Kiwi Motorists have been telling us they want the sustainable biofuel alternative in a regular grade petrol and they want to save money on fuel; that’s why we have put Gull Regular Plus into the market. With the bioethanol made here in New Zealand from sustainable sources and Gull always looking to maintain a competitive edge on prices we believe we have a great new product and are very excited. ” He said

“People are used to saving money at Gull and Gull Regular Plus will enable motorists to save even more,” says Bodger.

Liz Yeaman of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) says that the introduction of Gull Regular Plus is a major step forward, providing more biofuels options to the majority of Kiwis.

“Once again, Gull has shown leadership by providing motorists with a new choice of fuel that is better for the environment. Using Gull’s sustainable biofuel blends is one way New Zealand drivers can reduce their personal carbon footprint. Biofuels have been proven to be safe and reliable around the world, and now it is a great time to adopt them here.”
